Harmony employs those new to the field along with those who have practical experience with children. Harmony also employs certified teachers, those with Child Development Associate Degrees and/or Associate Degrees. All employees are thoroughly screened and undergo a police background check (finger printing, child abuse).
Harmony's Director is full-time, onsite with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, a minor in special education, New Jersey teaching certification and 14 years experience in child care. Harmony also employs a full-time onsite Program Supervisor who oversees the developmental progress of each child and provides support to all Head Teachers in implementing lesson plans. In addition, we have a full-time onsite Licensed Practical Nurse to attend to the children's medical needs.
Our qualified staff is committed to the nurturing care of young children. We realize the importance of staff development which is done throughout the year to keep our staff up to date with fresh ideas to enhance our curriculum. This provides an enriched environment for the children in our care and an opportunity for personal and professional growth for our staff.
