2-Year Old Preschool Class
Our cheerful classrooms are well equipped with the age-appropriate tools needed to provide your child with a high level of achievement. Our programs are balanced with teacher-facilitated and child-initiated activities with well defined learning centers. Notes go home daily to keep you informed of your child's day and progress reports are completed twice each year. When working with young children, it is important they have a consistent daily schedule.
A consistent daily schedule allows children to learn and to anticipate what activity is next, and this will provide the children with a sense of security. Please keep in mind the schedule is a guide, because when working with children, one must be adaptable to the children's needs.
All of our programs offer developmentally appropriate activities that allow all children to move towards their potential. The daily activities that we have planned match the children's ever-changing needs. Every child is unique in their learning abilities. There is a separate curriculum for each program which meets each child's educational, social, emotional needs and level of development. This is accomplished by provide age appropriate activities that are hands on, fun and exciting.
Harmony has an October 31 cutoff date to be in keeping with local school districts. Children matriculate on a yearly basis each September.
