Toddlers
Toddlers are curious and anxious to learn about their physical surroundings. They explore their independence and are actively acquiring language and sharing skills. They learn by watching, helping, and doing things by themselves. Our staff works in conjunction with our parents on the task of toilet training, which is aided by our child-size bathroom facilities! We offer a variety of educational hands-on activities to meet the rapidly changing needs and interests of very young children.
At Harmony, toddlers are given the opportunity to explore their surroundings, interests and make choices. They are stimulated to learn new words and use them in many ways. Toddlers are exposed to our phonics program to foster emergent literacy skills. They not only learn about themselves but also about others and sharing and develop a strong sense of self-esteem.
